Your Spotify likes, together in a YouTube playlist.
My Music Bridge is a private, personal-use integration that reads the owner's Spotify Liked Songs, searches for corresponding recordings on YouTube, and adds confidently matched videos to a single YouTube playlist.
What the application does
- Reads saved-song titles, artists and track identifiers from Spotify with read-only permission.
- Uses the official YouTube Data API to locate potential matching recordings.
- Adds high-confidence matches to an existing YouTube playlist, without routinely deleting or rearranging songs.
- Runs a scheduled check for new saved songs. Ambiguous matches are left for manual review.
How account data is used
Spotify track titles and artists are sent to the YouTube API for matching. YouTube channel, video and playlist information is read and used to manage the intended playlist. Authorisation tokens are stored as protected GitHub Actions secrets or encrypted runtime state. The source code and music-processing state are kept in a separate private GitHub repository.
The synchronisation does not use a generative AI model to process music data and does not download YouTube audio or video.
Privacy: Read the My Music Bridge Privacy Policy for details about permissions, storage, retention, third parties and revoking access.
